1. Introduction

Welcome to Secure the Connection! These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of our card game, "Secure the Connection." By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Definitions

  • Customer: The individual or entity purchasing the card game.

  • Order: The request for the purchase of the card game.

  • Game: Refers to "Secure the Connection," including its components.

3. Product Description

"Secure the Connection" is a card game designed for individuals aged 15 and older, aimed at improving understanding in relationships. The game includes 200 cards.

4. Ordering Process

To place an order:

  • Visit our website www.securetheconnection.com.

  • Select your desired product and follow the checkout process.

  • You will receive an order confirmation via email.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in dollars and include applicable taxes.

  • We accept payment through credit cards, PayPal, iDeal.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship worldwide.

  • Orders will be processed within 2-3 business days.

  • Delivery is guaranteed within 14 working days after dispatch. For any delays, please contact us at info@securetheconnection.com.

7. Returns and Exchanges

  • Returns are only accepted if the product arrived damaged due to shipment or supplier errors, and the foil seal on the product has not been removed.

  • To initiate a return, contact us at info@securetheconnection.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

8. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at info@securetheconnection.com within 14 days of receiving the Game.

  • Provide photographic evidence of the damage to facilitate a replacement or refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content related to "Secure the Connection," including but not limited to logos, graphics, and text, is the intellectual property of Secure the Connection and is protected by copyright laws.

10. User Conduct

Customers are expected to use the game respectfully and in accordance with community guidelines. Any form of harassment or abuse towards other players will not be tolerated.

11. Limitation of Liability

Secure the Connection is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the game. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the game.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Dutch law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting us at info@securetheconnection.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in the Netherlands. The arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Dutch Arbitration Institute (DAI). The decision made by the arbitrator shall be final and binding for both parties.

18. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions and discounts are subject to specific terms, which will be clearly outlined at the time of the promotion. Discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.

19. Community Guidelines

If you participate in any online community related to "Secure the Connection," you agree to adhere to our community guidelines, which prohibit harmful behavior and promote a supportive environment.

20. SMS/MMS Mobile Message Marketing Program Terms and Conditions

(hereinafter, “We,” “Us,” “Our”) is offering a mobile messaging program (the “Program”), which you agree to use and participate in, subject to these Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). We may modify or cancel the Program or any of its features without notice. This Agreement is limited to the Program and is not intended to modify other Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy that may govern the relationship between you and Us in other contexts. We may also modify this Agreement at any time and your continued use of the Program following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

The Program allows Users to receive SMS/MMS mobile messages by opting into the Program, such as through online or application-based subscription forms. Your consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Regardless of the opt-in method you used to join the Program, you agree that this Agreement applies to your participation in the Program. If you have opted in, the Program provides updates, alerts, information, promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., product discounts) from via text messages through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided. SMS/MMS mobile messages may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system or other technology. Message frequency varies. You are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply.

If you do not wish to continue participating in the Program or no longer agree to this Agreement, you agree to reply STOP to any mobile message from Us in order to opt-out of the Program. You may receive an additional mobile message confirming your decision to opt-out. You understand and agree that the preceding options are the only reasonable methods of opting out. You also understand and agree that any other method of opting out, including, but not limited to, texting words other than those set forth above or verbally requesting one of our employees to remove you from our list, is not a reasonable means of opting out.

For any questions please text "HELP" to the number you received the messages from. You can also contact us for more information. If you wish to opt-out please follow the procedures above.

We may change any telephone number we use to operate the Program at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Program are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. You agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information with us related to your receipt of messages, including, without limitation, notifying us immediately if you change your mobile number.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any third-party claims, liability, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Program or from you providing us with a phone number that is not your own. If at any time you intend to stop using the mobile telephone number that has been used to subscribe to the Program, including canceling your service plan or selling or transferring the phone number to another party, you agree that you will complete the Opt-Out process set forth above prior to ending your use of the mobile telephone number. You understand and agree that your agreement to do so is a required part of these terms and conditions. You further agree that, if you change your telephone number without notifying Us of such change, you agree that you will be responsible for all costs (including attorneys’ fees) and liabilities incurred by Us, or any party that assists in the delivery of the SMS/MMS mobile messages, as a result of claims brought by individual(s) who are later assigned that mobile telephone number. This duty and agreement shall survive any cancellation or termination of your agreement to participate in any of our Programs.

You agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Program, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

You may not use or engage with the Platform if you are under thirteen (13) years of age. If you use or engage with the Platform and are between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) years of age, you must have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to do so. By using or engaging with the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are not under the age of thirteen (13) years, are between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18), and have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use or engage with the Platform, or are of adult age in your jurisdiction. By using or engaging with the Platform, you also acknowledge and agree that you are permitted by your jurisdiction’s Applicable Law to use and/or engage with the Platform.

22. Pre-Order Information

Pre-orders for Secure the Connection are available for select products before they are officially released. By placing a pre-order, you agree to the following terms:

  • Availability: Pre-orders are subject to availability. You will be notified if the product is not available or if there are any delays in processing your order.

  • Payment: Pre-order payments are processed at the time of the order. This payment is non-refundable.

  • Shipping: Pre-ordered products will be shipped once they are in stock, and delivery times may vary depending on the product's release and availability. We will notify you of any delays or changes to the expected shipping date.

  • Cancellation: Pre-orders can be canceled within 14 days of the order being placed, as long as the product has not yet been shipped. Once shipped, the order will be subject to the normal return and refund policy.

  • Refunds: If for any reason the pre-order product is not fulfilled, you will receive a full refund.

  • Changes: We reserve the right to make changes to the product, including updates, modifications, or discontinuations, but we will notify customers if any significant changes occur.

  • Shipping Time: the Secure the Connection pre-order launch of December 20th, will be shipped end of January 2025. This is when we receive our inventory.

23. Safety Warnings and Risks

  • Age Recommendation: This card game is intended for players aged 15 and older. It is not suitable for children under 14 years due to small parts that may pose a choking hazard.

 

  • Choking Hazard: Do not place cards or any game components in your mouth. The cards and packaging are not edible. Keep away from small children and pets.

 

  • Flammability: The cards and packaging are flammable. Keep away from open flames, heat sources, or other ignition risks.

 

  • Health Disclaimer: This game is designed for entertainment and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional psychological or medical advice. If any content causes distress, please discontinue use and seek appropriate support.

 

  • Allergy Notice: The product packaging may contain trace amounts of chemicals or materials that could cause allergic reactions. Handle with care if you have known sensitivities.

 

By purchasing and using this product, you agree to take responsibility for its proper use. The manufacturer is not liable for any injury, damage, or misuse caused by failure to adhere to these safety guidelines.
